Providing direct care to refugee families, assisting them with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and offering them a chance to understand the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Befriend-a-Family (BAF) is a 6-month program where a team of volunteers is assigned a refugee family to befriend and support. It is an opportunity to develop deep relationships and to provide practical help to a newly-arrived family.
We require that volunteers attend our WARM 101 and 201 trainings, fill out an application with references and a background check, and agree to our statement of faith, vision, and mission.
